Summer Time!

I love my job choice for now if only for the fact that I get the summer off. This is just a quick little update saying that hopefully this summer I will get a chance to update this thing more. I know that this blog is not important or anything but it's somewhat fun.

A couple things that are happening in our lives. We finally got a new car. In case you didn't know I got in a wreck more than a month ago. Some guy pulled out in front of me and I couldn't stop in time but my car was totaled so last week we finally got a new one. It's an '02 Escort with just 51,000 miles. Hopefully it will get good gas milage.

The second big accomplishment of our summer is painting our bedroom. It used to have dark red walls, white woodwork, and blue carpet. But now it's a soothing green (Tad picked it out) with cream woodwork, and hardwood floors. I huge difference and much more our stlye. Maybe someday I'll try to post pictures of both the car and the room.

The rest of the time we've spent reading and working out and hanging out with friends. It's been great. I just hope it's not too hard to have to go back to work. But that's a "long" way away so I won't think about it now.
