Semi Weekly Update

This weeks events have included a trip to cornerstone and a huge sale at the Gap. What could be better.

First, last Thursday Tad and I went up to Cornerstone for the day. We saw some really good bands. One of my favorites that I heard for the first time was Anathallo and then there were also the classic favorites like Cool Hand Luke. They always have a good show (if you know the words to the songs) We also saw our friend Apryl there. We had been standing a crowd next to each other waiting for a show to start for 5 minutes before we realized we were standing next to each other. We also saw our friend Jay whose been living in Prague and he Czech Chick (as Apryl calls her) We also got a couple of bags from a vender there that were made by women in India. Making these bags gave them work to do so that they didn't have to sell their bodies on the streets any more. It's a great cause and you should all check it out. It was a good but long day. We didn't get home until 4 am which may not seem late to some of you out there but one day it will be.

Then Monday we painted another room in our house. Our study is now red. I love it. Funny story though. When we went to get the paint the first time they mixed it wrong and we came home with a can of bright hot pink paint. We returned to the store and soon had a beautiful room. Good thing Tad was there because I might have painted the room pink thinking I was just seeing the color wrong ;) I've learned to trust him when it comes to colors.

And then just yesterday we went into Springfield to run a few errands and happened to stop by the Gap looking for sales like we usually do and what did we find? Only the most amazing sale I've seen at the Gap ever. Tad got a pair of $58 pants for a mere $2.97. He ended up getting three pairs of pants and a sweater and I got three shirts all for $35. We added up the origninal prices of everything. Drumroll please....$313. We saved $278! Or you could say we spent $35 that we wouldn't have if we didn't go in at all but you must admit this was amazing. (Now I realize that most people reading this will just thing I'm weird but I do like the Gap but I don't have enough money to shop there so something like this is very exciting in the life a preacher's wife from Lake Fork)

Thus concludes a week in the life of Hannah.

Hey Hannah! Heather and I listened to Anathallo earlier this year in Ft. Myers, a friend of ours lent (lended?) his CD to us. I must agree. They are good.

Anyway, tell your husband I said hello!
